Worry is not an expression of love, and if it's not an expression of love, how can it help? Why do we worry anyway? For a couple of reasons.  First, we think the world is on our shoulders. When we think it's up to us to solve the problem we are identifying with the negative condition, either in our own life or in someone else's life.

Jump the tracks! to get out of that groove! Remember when the Master of Galilee said, Don't take thought, meaning don't worry about what to eat, what you shall wear, and so on? And then he said, Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. The lily doesn't worry about how to grow.

None of us determines the destiny of any other being. I am responsible for my own destiny.

The second reason we worry is that we have forgotten what or who provides for all our needs, be they physical, mental, or spiritual. The lilies have not forgotten, the birds of the air have not forgotten, the fish have not forgotten. And the heavenly Father-Mother provides for them all.

Everything is chock full of God-every space is crammed full of God's presence and abundance. All worry has to do with not being consciously connected with the Source of love and joy, peace and freedom.

We unworry by consciously remembering what sustains us with every breath and what sustains our body even when we are asleep. That which takes care of everything in the universe takes care of me, for God is the source of all.

When we worry we are claiming that we don't deserve to be happy.
